Pearson Ensign, Cal 25, Ranger 29, C&C 35, C&C 33
What compelled you to buy a J/32?
The best cruiser racer boat I could find in the size range I wanted, after attending
Newport, Annapolis boat shows.
What is the best feature of the J32?….second best?
Handling and performance
Have you added any custom features to your J/32?
2 additional winches in cockpit for racing, autopilot, air conditioning, on shore power
and conventional spinnaker arrangement.
Describe your most memorable J/32 voyage.
Race from New Orleans to Gulfport, MS. 3rd in class.
Please share any add’l J/32 experiences.
In the five months that I’ve had the boat we’ve raced 4 times. Last race series
was the Pass Christian TC Birthday Regatta in which we took 1st in PHRF class.
The boat is perfect for my needs and is admired by everyone who sees it.
What are your future sailing plans with the J/32?
Racing, daysailing, overnight cruising on the Gulf Coast. Probably sail in Gulfport
Pensacola race next year.
