Specifications

Hull and Deck

  • Lloyd's approved, ABS inspected and certified, Baltek Contourkore end grained balsa laminate construction using biaxial and unidirectional glass with interplastic vinylester resin on the outer hull layer to permit a 10 year warranty against blistering.

  • Lead & antimony fixed 4,500 lb. 6.5' draft, variable chord, high lift, fin keel bolted and epoxy bonded to deep molded stub.

  • Contrasting non-skid on deck of smoke white, Seattle grey, or ivory on white.

  • Double tapered boot stripe.

  • ORC 1.5" teak foredeck toerail.

  • Hull to deck joint bonded with 3M 5200, bolted on 4" centers.

  • Large cockpit locker to port on cockpit seat and additional locker aft.

  • Two molded instrument pods P & S of helmsman's station.

  • Low maintenance stainless steel handrails on cabin trunk.

  • Molded spray shield dodger storage area.

Propulsion and Steering

  • Yanmar 3GM30 28 h.p. 3 cylinder diesel engine with fresh water cooling, Racor fuel filter, and 50 amp alternator.

  • Yanmar engine instrument panel recessed in cockpit with tachometer, fuel gauge, alarms for oil pressure and temperature, and night lighting.

  • Balanced spade rudder with unidirectional glass and large diameter molded shaft mounted in custom fabricated rudder bearing system to exceed ABS requirements.

  • Edson 40" Destroyer wheel on custom molded super strong pedestal with 5" Ritchee compass, brake, and stainless guard. Gear ratio of 1:1 to facilitate installation of self steering devices.

  • 21 gallon alloy fuel tank with baffles and inspection/clean out port located in aft quarter cabin.

  • Aluminum anodized emergency tiller.

  • Martec folding propellor with 1" Aquamet stainless engine shaft.

Plumbing

  • Marelon seacocks and double clamped hoses below the waterline.

  • Manually operated bilge pump in cockpit.

  • Automatic electric bilge pump with switch between pump and independant of main panel.

  • Manual fresh water system with foot pumps in the head and galley.

  • 65 gallons standard water capacity in two, independantly valved polyurethane tanks with baffles which are secured by nylon strapping to exceed ABS regulations.

  • Raritan PH-2 head with 18 gallon holding tank and Y' overboard discharge.

  • Ice box drain with valve.

Deck Hardware

  • Two Barient 27 STA (self tailing aluminum) 2-speed primary cockpit winches.
