Tim was living on his 34 ft sailing
boat in the Caribbean and started to photograph yachts as a
means of survival. Today he spends winters afloat
in the Caribbean. Over recent years he's been active at regattas in
the UK and the Mediterranean. Many sailors will instantly
recognize his unique style. Where other photographers shoot from
larger boats Tim works from a tiny inflatable, this gives him
incredible maneuver-ability, allowing him to get close to the action. |

Chris Ray is the "official" photo-grapher

Erik grew up
with matching bed sheets and curtains with pictures of the
great clipper ships on them. A son of a son of a sailor, he
was genetically disposed to an attraction to things wet and
wind driven. In 1978 he was given his 1st sail-boat ride and
there was no turning back. A few years later he acquired a
Pentax ME Super which he dragged with him on all of his
adventures. Numerous bodies and thousands of rolls of film
(and digital cards) later, he's finally starting to get the
hang of it. |

Based in Southampton, England, Paul has lived and worked by the sea all his life. Apart from studying for a design degree, the sea has always been central to him; teaching sailing, boat building and work for the RYA. His design talent combines well with hands-on experience at sea. An understanding of light and a passion for capturing the energy and grace of the sea is his driving force. Paul shoots from a small RIB, allowing him to get right into the action. Many of his shots appear in major Yachting publications in addition to work for clients such as : Volvo, JP Morgan, CrewSaver, Musto, and Yachts and Yachting, to name a few. www.pwpictures.com |
