The J/Sailing Calendar was designed to be both beautiful and
useful. Unlike some other calendars, we believe that "easy-to-write"
with pencil, pen or marker is important. So, the entire design,
layout, format and selection of paper was designed to accommodate your needs
for "room" to write down your appointments and schedules.
The "matte finish" on the actual wall calendar pages makes it easy
to write down with pencil or pen and when it comes time to change your
appointments and schedules, which is often the case, a simple erasure or
white-out works great-- something very difficult to do on the "gloss paper" used
by most calendars.
Furthermore, the large writing surface of 9.25" high by 13.25"
wide for the wall calendar "grid" ensures you have enough space to write down
most of what you need to do, unlike others which have crammed down the
calendar grid to accommodate too many pictures or reduced the size of the
calendar grid itself in the
name of design or art.
Finally, the actual dimensions of the wall-size J/Sailing Calendar fits
beautifully into most office cubes, most student dorms and most office walls
or bulletin boards-- too large a format and it won't fit, too small a format
and you simply can't write anything down conveniently and still read it.
